What happens in poor weather?
During heavy snow events, City of London community centres, arenas, aquatic facilities, and other program locations may remain open, delay opening or close early depending on weather conditions. Updated hours of operation and programming changes will be shared at london.ca/snow and Londoners can check the status online to find the information before leaving home.
Amusement rides and attraction areas will close due to extreme temperatures and adverse weather conditions - particularly heavy rain, high winds or lightning. Storybook Gardens makes every effort to reopen the rides and attractions as quickly and safely as possible after the adverse weather conditions cease. Guests are encouraged to take shelter in their vehicles or leave and come back, as in-and-out privileges are included with admission for the day. If the park is unable to remain open, guests impacted will receive a rain cheque to return for a future visit.
In any instance where the City of London cancels a recreation program, a full credit or refund will be issued. For withdrawal requests made prior to the start of the program, your account will be credited in full. No credits or refunds will be issued for withdrawal requests made after the start of the program, except in extenuating circumstances as approved by a supervisor. Do you have a question related to our withdrawal and refund policy? Send us an email at storybookmail@london.ca or a call at 519-661-5770.
