Pension

We are proud to partner with Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System (OMERS) that provides pensions for eligible employees – including options for employees in casual and temporary positions. The City of London also has reciprocal agreements with many other pension providers in Canada. Pension plan members can enroll in Additional Voluntary contributions (AVC) if they wish.  


Pay

The City of London is a transparent employer. We include pay ranges on all our job postings.  

For unionized positions, rates of pay are governed by collective agreements. This includes steps in a range and also annual pay increases.

Learning and development

  • Educational course reimbursement program 
  • Partnership with Western University to provide employees with the opportunity to enroll in the Public Administration Graduate Diploma program
