Columbia Sportswear free trail walking programs

The City of London is excited to announce the launch of the Free Trail Walking Programs this fall, sponsored by Columbia Sportswear. 

These programs offer children and youth in London the opportunity to participate in free, guided hikes that are designed to be accessible and fun for all skill levels.

These free programs aim to introduce participants to the joys of hiking, while promoting physical activity, risky play, healthy lifestyle habits and environmental conversation. 

Programs include:

Monday, October 13:

• Location: Kilally Meadows

  Family hike – 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

  Outdoor family walk – 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

• Location: Kains Woods

  Family hike: 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

  Outdoor family walk: 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

• Location: Medowlily Woods

  Family hike: 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

  Outdoor family walk: 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

• October 19 and 26, November 2 and 9: Columbia Little Trekkers (ages 3-6 and must attend with one caregiver age 16+)
• October 19 and 26, November 2 and 9: Columbia Outdoor Explorers (ages 7-12)
