Neighbourhood Small Events Fund

The Neighbourhood Small Events Fund is now accepting applications for 2026 events.

The Neighbourhood Small Events Fund provides community and neighbourhood groups hosting free, accessible, small-scale neighbourhood events on public property with a one-time grant of up to $500 per year.  

Funds can assist with event expenses such as refreshments, venue rentals, activity supplies, entertainment, portable washrooms, a mobile stage, barbecue and tent rentals, road closure fees, and insurance. 

The fund supports local community and neighbourhood events that align with the City's Strategic Plan:  "Wellbeing and Safety". 

Funds are available annually until they have been exhausted.
