Book a fire education presentation

The London Fire Department has Certified Public Fire and Life Safety Educators available to speak to your group or class on a range of fire safety topics. Fire personnel are available to attend community special events and provide fire safety education displays.

We offer a wide range of programming to fit all needs and ages such as:

• Elementary school and secondary school fire safety programming
• English as a Second Language (levels 1,2,3,4,5)
• Seniors fire safety programs
• Residential high/low rise fire safety training for tenants
• TAPP-C (The Arson Prevention Program for Children - who play with fire)

No fee is required from residents within the city of London for the above programs. 

Other training currently offered by the London Fire Department includes:

• Residential high/low rise seminar for managers and staff
• Portable fire extinguisher training – theory & indoor digital or theory & outdoor live fire simulator

A fee is required got the above two training sessions. 

Booking a Fire Education Presentation

To book a session for your group please contact fireforms@london.ca.  

When sending your request for a fire education presentation please ensure to include the following information:

• The name of your group, school, or organization
• Your contact information including name, phone number, and applicable extension
• The address where the presentation will take place
• The approximate number of people that will attend
• The age range of participants
• Any specific fire safety information needs
• Preferred dated and times, keeping in mind that a presentation may take one to two hours depending on the group
• If translated materials are required, please specify which languages
