City facilities including City Hall are closed to the public. Many services will remain available, but changes have been made to reduce the need for people to leave their home to access services.
Walking is a healthy and sustainable way of traveling through the city. In addition to the City’s sidewalks, you can walk on the Thames Valley Parkway, London’s multi-use pathway system that stretches over 40 km and extends into many neighbourhoods.
The Walk Map is also available for pick up at any library branch, Tourism London location or City Hall.
If you have questions or need assistance with the Walk Map, please contact Allison Miller at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 519-661-2489 x 5389
Many secondary pathway systems have been built or are planned to be built to bring more users to the main system, such as the Stoney Creek pathway and the new Kiwanis Park path, linking Dundas Street south to the river.
The Thames Valley Parkway is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. to all users, however many sections are not lit, so users need to plan accordingly.
Much of the Thames Valley Parkway is plowed in the winter once the snow gets deep making it an all-season recreation activity. The surface may still be snow covered, so wear appropriate footwear.
