Plan your next school trip at Storybook Gardens! We’re open for school trips from Monday, June 1 to Thursday, June 25, 2026, with programs running from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
All school group bookings include access to the On the Riverbank Splash Pad, Gnorbert’s Learning Garden, Adventure Island play area, Leaping Lilypad Jumping Pillow, miniature playhouses, sand and water play areas, pedal car track racing, character meet and greets and a designated picnic site. Our primary educational programs give children an opportunity to engage in curriculum-based learning during their visit through open-ended play and interactive experiences. School educational programs include a full day of fun at Storybook Gardens, a special stage show, plus one amusement ride ticket per student that can be redeemed at the Springbank Express Train or Storybook Carousel. Supervising adults will receive a ride wristband to assist children on rides as needed.
The cost is $10.70 (plus tax) per child with a minimum of 20 children. Teacher and adult chaperone admission is free and unlimited!
We provide each group with a designated picnic site, which includes four picnic tables and a grass area, for the day to store your belongings and eat lunch.
This package includes an outdoor live show with space for one large school group (150 guests or less) or two smaller school groups (55 guests or less).
You have the choice of one of three live performance times at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. or 12:30 p.m.
Programs run outdoors, so be sure to come dressed for the weather. Book now to secure your preferred date and make sure to request your live show! With limited show dates, these bookings will go fast.
As part of the educational program package, you have the option to see one of our new shows on selected dates.
| Orbax and Pepper Do Science! Wednesdays — June 3, 10, and 17 | If you like your science LOUD and MESSY, this is the show for you! Professor Orbax and his long-suffering lab assistant, Sweet Pepper Klopek, are two “Experi-mentors” on a mission to teach WEIRD science to COOL kids. This interactive, family-friendly show features hands-on experiments, strange science facts, and lots of audience participation—plus just enough irreverent comedy to keep both kids and parents entertained (and maybe even educated).

Storybook STOMP! Dates: Thursdays — June 4, 11, and 18 | Get ready to move, groove, and STOMP! Storybook STOMP! is an active, engaging dance and fitness program led by energetic instructors who make movement fun for everyone. With upbeat music, creative movement, and simple choreography, children will build confidence while staying active. Designed for JK–Grade 3, the program aligns with the Ontario Curriculum through physical literacy, creative expression, and social-emotional learning—all seamlessly integrated into the fun. Image

| Masters of the Sky: Ontario’s Hunting Birds Dates: Fridays — June 5, 12, and 19 | Join Wild Ontario from the University of Guelph for an exciting introduction to some of Ontario’s most incredible hunting birds. Discover the amazing adaptations and abilities that help these birds survive in the wild, and hear the unique stories of our live avian ambassadors. Participants will also learn simple, meaningful ways they can help protect birds and their habitats right here in Ontario. Image

Storybook offers an enchanted park filled with endless opportunities to connect literacy, healthy physical activity, and fun through open-ended play!

Rent a pavilion to host your group or celebration at Storybook Gardens. The outdoor pavilion site includes four picnic tables that seat up to 20 guests, with extra tables and seats available upon request. Pavilion rentals are recommended for groups between 10 and 100.
Admission to the park is not included in the rental fee, so please select the appropriate number of park admission passes required when booking you pavilion. Ride tickets, food and support staff are available at an additional cost. For 2026, rentals are not available until after May 19.
Pavilion rentals cost $42.00 per hour. A minimum two-hour rental is required. Additional tax and insurance fees apply.
Guests are responsible for decorating the pavilion, if applicable. All decorations must be removed prior to the end of the rental contract. Please note latex balloons and confetti are not permitted. For groups over 20 people, a $7.50 admission rate will apply.
Private facility rentals are available outside of Storybook Gardens' regular hours, making the entire park your own personal, magical playground. No admission fees apply to guests invited to your event.
Spring, summer and fall rentals
Spring, summer and fall rentals include all our classic outdoor play attractions, including the On the Riverbank Splash Pad (no waterslide), Adventure Island, the Storybook Play Village, and the Jumping Pillow. Spring, summer and fall rentals cost $427.30 (plus tax) per hour for events with 300 people or less. A minimum two-hour rental is required. Additional tax and insurance fees apply.
Private site rentals include basic Storybook Gardens staff fees. Staff at your event will include a park supervisor, a building and grounds attendant, and one attraction staff member to supervise the jumping pillow. Additional fees apply for concession services, amusement rides, entertainment, and additional program staff. Additional fees apply for amusement rides, entertainment, and food options. Extra staff costs apply for groups over 300 people.
Winter rentals include exclusive access to the 250-metre skating trail, children's play village and outdoor seated area. The Beavertails concession will be open during all skate trail rentals. Winter skate trail rentals cost $376.20 for 90 minutes for events with 50 people or less. A minimum 1.5-hour rental is required. Additional tax and insurance fees apply. In addition, skate rentals are available for $7.90 (plus tax) per person. Helmets are required for children 5 and under.
Private site rentals include Storybook Gardens staff fees. Staff at your event will include one park supervisor, a skate cruiser and a and customer service staff member.
Additional fees apply for campfires, hot food service and extra skate cruisers for groups over 50 people. The maximum capacity for winter rentals is 175 people.
