Where can I park when visiting Storybook Gardens?

There is ample free parking in front of Storybook Gardens. It is always safest to secure valuables out of sight or in your trunk. The parking area is well lit in the evening.

How do I get to Storybook Gardens by bus?

Plan your trip ahead and visit the London Transit Commission website for routes and schedules.

How long will a visit to Storybook Gardens take?

Most visitors spend between three and five hours inside Storybook Gardens.

Do you accept anything other than cash?

We accept cash. Preferred form of payment is debit or credit card (Visa or Mastercard) for admission and concession purchases.

Where can I find first aid?

Storybook Gardens staff are certified in first aid and CPR. If you require first aid, please find the nearest staff member or visit the castle.

What if I lose track of my child?

The safety and security of children is of paramount importance for us. If you cannot locate your child, please speak with the nearest staff member and they will assist you, and also send for additional staff if required.

Is the park accessible?

Storybook Gardens is flat and leveled, with paved pathways running throughout much of the park that are suitable for strollers or wheelchairs. Please note that some of the older buildings and play facilities are not fully accessible. Accessible washrooms are located in the castle at the front of the park.

Accessibility amenities are available to guests at the Storybook castle, including sensory packs, wheelchairs, mobility scooters, skating sledges and UbiDuo devices. Water wheelchairs are available for use at the splash pad. Reservations are encouraged. There are no additional fees to access these amenities.

Can I bring my own food?

While our concession locations operate daily from the Victoria Day long weekend to the Labour Day long weekend, on evenings and weekends during the winter, and on weekends in the fall, offering a variety of hot food items, snacks and beverages, visitors are permitted to bring in their food from home. Purchased food from outside restaurants or food-service providers is not permitted inside Storybook Gardens. Barbeques are also not permitted inside Storybook Gardens. Admission to Storybook Gardens includes in-and-out privileges with proof of admission.

What happens in poor weather?

Amusement rides and attraction areas will close due to extreme temperatures and adverse weather conditions - particularly heavy rain, high winds or lightning. This is to ensure the safety of all our guests is not compromised in unpredictable weather. A specific answer as to when closed rides and attractions will return to operation is not possible because varying degrees of inclement weather cause different effects on different features. Storybook Gardens makes every effort to reopen the rides and attractions as quickly and safely as possible after the adverse weather conditions cease. No refunds or rain checks will be issued due to adverse weather conditions. Visit our closures and cancellations page for the most up-to-date information.

Are there facilities for babies?

There are change tables located in the washrooms, as well as a baby change building located in the middle of the park for those looking for a quiet place to change a baby or to nurse. The baby change building is located in the middle of the park next to the Village Square Stage. Please ask a staff member to receive access to this building.

I forgot something. Can I purchase a replacement on site?

Our Treasure Chest gift shop stocks a number of convenience items, such as helmets, Kleenex, sunscreen, towels, and batteries.

If I leave the park, can I come back in?

Admission to Storybook Gardens includes in-and-out privileges with proof of admission for your scheduled day or timeslot.

How will I know what’s going on in the park?

You can find our daily event listings by visiting our calendar webpage. You can view our annual events by visiting our signature events webpage. We encourage you to follow our Facebook and Instagram to stay in the loop on everything going on at the park. 

Can I bring a pet in to the park?

Dogs and other pets are not permitted inside Storybook Gardens, unless there is a pet-friendly event scheduled. Service animals are permitted inside Storybook Gardens. The visitor is responsible for the behaviour and cleanup for the service animal at all times.

Is smoking permitted inside the park?

Storybook Gardens is a smoke free facility. Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside Storybook Gardens. Visitors wishing to smoke are asked to exit the park. In-and-out privileges is allowed with proof of admission.

Are there concessions available at the park?

Storybook Gardens has food service on-site that serve a variety of meals, snacks and treats to meet all your cravings. Several concession areas operate in the park.
