The County of Middlesex encompasses the Township of Adelaide Metcalfe, Township of Lucan Biddulph, Municipality of Middlesex Centre, Municipality of Southwest Middlesex, Municipality of North Middlesex, Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc, Municipality of Thames Centre, and the Village of Newbury

Community Employment Choices

Community Employment Choices supports businesses and job seekers in meeting the labour market needs of Middlesex County with job training information, career planning, job search support, job placement opportunities and incentives, as well as referrals to community resources. Community Employment Choices has locations at the Parkhill Library, in Strathroy and the Glencoe Library.

The team at Employment Solutions help individuals with disabilities find work, and help employers create opportunities. The team offers case management, job search programs, candidate development and coaching, and market research analysis. The goal of Employment Solutions is to provide high quality, cost effective, and efficient employment placement and retention services that will promote client independence and community acceptance through proactive planning, job placement techniques, and education.

Leads Employment Services

Leads Employment Services Employment Services is a not-for-profit employment and skills development agency.  Since 1986, LEADS has been providing specialized and customized services for people with disabilities and/or employment-related barriers throughout Southwestern Ontario.  At LEADS, Employment Specialists work with clients who need varying levels of assistance developing skills and accessing employment opportunities, and/or post-employment supports.  They also work with employers who have hiring needs, including screening, matching, and on-boarding, and who want to save money and resources in training and accommodation recommendations.
