The City of London typically maintains three outdoor rinks for residents to enjoy skating over the winter season. Outdoor ice skating is typically available between early-December to mid-March, weather permitting.
Victoria Park skating information
Starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, December 12, ice skating at Victoria Park will be open for the 2025/2026 winter season!
This rink will then be open daily from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m., weather permitting. To check the status of Victoria Park’s outdoor rink, please call 519-661-5768.
The Kiwanis Memorial Bandshell concession will be open Monday to Friday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday to Sunday from 12 noon to 10 p.m. During the holidays from December 20 to January 4, it will be open from 12 noon to 10 p.m. Skate rentals will be available at the Kiwanis Memorial Bandshell concession for $8.00 per person and sharpening will be available for $7.00.
Covent Garden Market skating information
The outdoor ice rink at Covent Garden Market is now open for the season! Whether you’re brushing up on your skating skills or enjoying some fresh air with friends and family, come join us on the ice.
Hours of Operation:
Tuesday to Saturday: 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Sunday: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The City also maintains the Storybook Gardens’ Skate Trail, is now open for the 2025/2026 season! This is an enchanting 250-metre skate trail, which loops around the park grounds. Admission is $5 for adults and $4 for children ages 17 and under, and free for children under 24 months old. Skate rentals are available for $7 per person. Helmets are required for children 5 and under. Pre-registration is encouraged. Please visit the Purchase your tickets webpage to pre-register for a session before it fills up. Drop-in admission is also available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
