City facilities including City Hall are closed to the public. Many services will remain available, but changes have been made to reduce the need for people to leave their home to access services.
Accessibility Planning and Reporting
We are committed to providing quality goods, services and facilities that are accessible to all persons we serve and in a manner that respects dignity and independence. We will meet the needs of persons with disabilities in a timely manner and will do so by preventing and removing barriers to accessibility in customer service, information and communication, employment, the built environment, and transportation.
We are committed to the principles of independence, dignity, integration, and equality of opportunity, as described in the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
Our most recent Multi-Year Accessibility Plan outlines our next phase of changes to continue to improve accessibility throughout the City of London. Over the next four years this document outlines our commitment to a more inclusive City of London experience.
Businesses, non-profit organizations and public sector organizations, such as municipalities, must file an accessibility compliance report regularly with the Government of Ontario to confirm that the organization has met the applicable requirements under AODA.
