Outdoor pools
All the outdoor pools are closed for the season.
Cool off in the summer by swimming at our outdoor pools! Come swim with us and participate in one of our many summer programs such as swim lessons, swim team, dive team, recreation swims or attend one of our many special event days. Our outdoor pools typically open in early July and close in late August. Find the dates and hours for public drop-ins at our outdoor pools under Aquatics Outdoor Drop-Ins on Play Your Way.
Spray pads
Ed Blake, Constitution, Meadowgate, SE Opts, Rowntree, Jesse Davidson, Medway, Riverbend and Oakridge remain open.
West LionsSpray pads are now open for the season until Monday, September 1, 2025, weather permitting. For safety and in anticipation of noise, dust, and dirt, the Ivey Park spray pad will remain temporarily closed this year while the Downtown Sewer Capacity Expansion Project is constructed nearby. In addition, the new spray pad at Rowntree Park will open in early June when construction is complete.
Spray pads typically open from Victoria Day weekend to Labour Day weekend. These amenities operate between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. daily. Spray pads are free, interactive play areas that have sensors users push to activate water features. These amenities use potable water. Spray pads are unsupervised and have no standing water.

Indoor pools
Enjoy year-round aquatic programming at any of our indoor pools! Come swim with us and participate in any of our aquatic activities such as swim lessons, lane swim, aquafit, parent and tot swims, recreation swims and so much more. It also includes a change table with a lift, ramp entry in the large pool, stair entry in the small pool and a universal change room. Program offerings include recreational swims, lane swims, Women Only swimming and aquafit classes, swim lessons and aquatic leadership programs. The water slide is currently open.
