On September 15 and September 22, Storybook Gardens will open at 12 p.m. due to hydro work in the area.

StoryBOO!
From October 12 to October 29, 2023, join us for StoryBOO! presented by Start.ca and get ready for some Halloween fun geared to young children and families. Get your costumes and flashlights ready and join us for a night of spooky fun at the park. This event is geared towards young children ages 10 and under.
Enjoy spooky displays and amazing decorations, ride the Storybook rides, jump on the Leaping Lilypad, visit the wisecracking gravediggers, explore the SkeleCircus black light maze and find lots of spooky surprises along the way! Don’t miss the trick or treat candy stop at the castle upon exiting.
In addition to regular programming, we will also be hosting:
Admission is $12 per person. Children under two-years-old can enter for free. Pre-register today by visiting Play Your Way online or purchase tickets at the park. Those who purchase admission will receive one ticket to ride the Storybook Carousel.
Please note only 250 tickets are available each night for walk up guests. Guests are encouraged to pre-register to avoid disappointment. This event runs rain or shine, so please dress for the weather.
Winter skate trail
Each winter, enjoy a magical holiday experience with our 250-metre skate trail, which loops around the park grounds. Admission is $4.50 for adults, $3.50 for children ages 17 and under, and free for children under 24 months old. Skate rentals are available for $6.50 per person.
Our Beavertails concession will be open on evenings and weekends serving Beavertails pastries, poutine, fries, hot chocolate and Pepsi products.
Pre-registration is encouraged. Please visit Play Your Way online to pre-register before spaces fill up. Drop-in admission is also available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Helmets are required for children 5 and under. Helmets are not available for rental. All sturdy strollers are allowed on the skating trail. Umbrella or collapsible strollers are not permitted. Baby carriers are not permitted on the skate trail.
Easter Egg Hunt
The hunt is on! From Friday, April 7 to Sunday, April 9, join us for an Easter Egg Hunt at Storybook Gardens! Find eggs of different colours throughout the park to redeem a treat or prize. Children over three-years-old can search the whole park for eggs. Toddlers under the age of three can search for eggs at Storybook Valley.
Admission is $5.00 for children ages 17 and under and free for all adults. From Friday, April 7 to Sunday, April 9, timeslots will be available from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., 12 to 2 p.m. and 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Pre-registration for the Easter Egg Hunt is required and is available at Play Your Way online.
In addition, Storybook Gardens will be open on Monday, April 10 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with our rides and attractions open depending on the weather. For more information on what's open on Easter Monday, please follow our Facebook and Instagram pages.
Friday Night Festivals
Each summer, Storybook Garden’s hosts Friday Night Festivals, offering free admission for children and $5.00 admission for adults on Fridays after 5:30 p.m. throughout the summer. Each Friday night, Storybook Gardens will have a new theme and special guest entertainers with a focus on community engagement and diversity. Nightly activities include character meet and greets, family dance party, photo booth, scavenger hunt, face painting, food trucks and a good night story plus local event partners and vendors. Sensory Friendly Thursdays
Throughout July and August, Storybook Gardens offers Sensory Friendly Thursdays every Thursday from 9 to 10 a.m. Sensory friendly experience includes early morning access, no music and limited park capacity to avoid any line-ups or crowding. Park attractions open during this time include the Valley Village Playhouse, Pedal Car Track, On the Riverbank Splash Pad, Elephants, Swings, Frog King's Leaping Lilypad, Adventure Island, Hands in the Sand and Gnorbert's Gardens. Park entertainment and additional attractions will begin at 10 a.m. Food service locations will open at 11 a.m.
