Community gardens are places where people grow their own food and flowers, spend time in nature, be creative, exercise, and socialize. The London Community Gardens Program offers access to twenty-one community gardens, providing space for over five hundred gardeners.

Join the Community Garden Waitlist
New waitlist process
We have updated how people join the waitlist for community garden plots.
This new process helps our team match you with gardens where you are most interested in gardening. It also lets more residents express interest, so we can better understand how many people want to take part in the program. The Community Gardens waitlist opens March 2, 2026.
Here’s what’s new:
- You can choose up to three gardens; in the order you prefer.
- There is no limit to how many people can join a waitlist.
- When a plot becomes free, we will offer it to people in the order the forms were received.
- Please note that a plot may not become available.
- The waitlist starts fresh each season, so that information about gardener preferences stays up to date.
