UPDATE: Due to current weather conditions, the 2025 golf season will now open on Friday, April 11, weather permitting.
The wait is over! The City of London is excited to announce the opening of Thames Valley Golf Course and Fanshawe Golf Course for the 2025 season on Thursday, April 10 at 10 a.m., weather permitting. Tee times for the opening day will open online Tuesday night at 9 p.m. Please note, golf carts will only be available later this week if weather and ground conditions allow.
Thames Valley offers an 18-hole course along the Thames River, featuring picturesque elevation changes and stunning tree-lined fairways. Additionally, the 9-hole course provides a mix of par fours and threes with wider fairways, ideal for beginners, seniors, and families.
Fanshawe is located in northeast London overlooking Fanshawe Lake and boasts a fully accessible 9-hole as well as two distinct 18-hole layouts—the Traditional and Quarry courses—catering to golfers of all skill levels.
As a new feature for the 2025 golf season, online tee time bookings will now be available starting at 9 p.m., 8-days in advance. For example, Saturday tee times will be available to book online as of 9 p.m. the previous Friday.
The City of London continues to invest in both golf facilities. At Thames Valley, new asphalt cart paths and concrete pads for benches at each tee have been added. There are accessible washrooms and shining new windows in the pro shop and lounge. At Fanshawe, a rooftop HVAC unit is being replaced, and a section of the kitchen will be refreshed.
Seasonal passes can be purchased directly through your City of London Play Your Way online account or by calling customer service team at 519-661-5575. Golf passes are also available for purchase in-person at the Thames Valley Golf Course, open daily from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
