Registration now open for the 2026 Age Friendly London Conference

Registration is now open for the 2026 Age Friendly London Conference, inviting Londoners to connect, learn and discover resources that support healthy aging in London.

Presented by the Age Friendly London Network, this year’s conference takes place on Wednesday, October 14, at the Best Western Lamplighter Inn. The annual event brings together local organizations, health professionals, community leaders and residents for a full day of learning, conversation and connection focused on building a more age-friendly community.

The conference will once again feature, expert speakers, engaging presentations, interactive sessions and an exhibitor marketplace showcasing programs, services and supports available to older adults across London and Middlesex. Headlining this year's program is keynote speaker Mary Lou Smoke, whose presentation, Medicine and Song, will explore the power of culture, storytelling and healing.

"Creating an age-friendly city means ensuring older adults have access to information, resources and opportunities to stay connected to their community," says Cheryl Smith, Deputy City Manager, Neighbourhood and Community-Wide Services. "The Age Friendly London Conference brings people together to learn from one another, discover valuable local services and explore practical ways to support healthy aging."

The conference reflects London's ongoing commitment to fostering an inclusive community where people can age well. Since becoming the first Canadian city to join the World Health Organization's Global Network of Age-friendly Cities in 2010, London has continued to work alongside residents and community partners to improve the quality of life for older adults.
