The City of London is collecting input from Londoners and businesses as part of developing a new Downtown Plan.
This plan is being created with direction from Council to develop a strategy to support the downtown. The plan’s development will review current policies and gather updated data for our rapidly evolving core. The new plan will also consist of updated strategies that support residential, commercial and employment growth.
Currently, more than 10,000 people live downtown. The downtown is home to more than 1,400 businesses, as well as several new and long-standing festivals and events
To begin the plan’s development, a new survey is available on the project’s webpage. Londoners and businesses are encouraged to share what they feel are the biggest strengths and challenges for the downtown, and what they see as the future of the downtown.
The City will also be collecting feedback at several pop-up opportunities at events across the city.
