Clarke Road South EnviroDepot temporarily closing for site upgrades starting April 14

Starting April 14, 2025, the Clarke Road South EnviroDepot will be temporarily closed to allow for significant site upgrades and construction improvements, until further notice. This work is part of the City’s ongoing commitment to enhance waste management services, improve customer experience, and support London’s environmental and waste diversion goals.

Planned Improvements Include:

  • Expanded drop-off area to increase capacity and meet growing community needs
  • Enhanced vehicle queuing and improved traffic flow on site
  • Enlarged leaf and yard material drop-off area
  • Upgraded lighting and fencing for safety and site aesthetics
  • Installation of a new storm sewer system for improved drainage
  • Extension of the elevated lane and retaining wall system to accommodate more vehicles
  • Removals and earthworks for site preparation and future developments

These upgrades aim to:

  • Improve service delivery and enhance the customer experience
  • Encourage multi-purpose trips to reduce the number of visits
  • Modernize the depot’s features and overall appearance
  • Increase the acceptance and diversion of materials from the landfill

During the closure, residents are encouraged to visit the City’s other EnviroDepot locations, as listed below:

  • Starting April 14 - NEW – Temporary Dingman EnviroDepot (3544 Dingman Drive)
  • Clarke Road North EnviroDepot (21462 Clarke Road)
