Get your popcorn, lawn chairs and picnic blankets ready because outdoor movie nights are back.
The City of London is excited to announce its 2023 season showcasing family-favourite movies in a neighbourhood park near you. These free events are hosted by residents and neighbourhood-based groups, providing a great opportunity for neighbours to connect.
Movie nights start June 16 and run until September 23. Each movie starts at dusk at the locations listed below.
“Our outdoor movie night series brings the community together to enjoy family-friendly favourites,” says Cheryl Smith, Deputy City Manager, Neighbourhood and Community-Wide Services. “After a successful run last year, and an overwhelming request to host these events again, we’re excited to bring the initiative back and offer Londoners 38 movie nights this summer.”
If you plan on attending, please be sure to bring snacks, drinks, a chair and blankets to complement this great film experience. Registration is not required – simply show up with family and friends and prepare for a night under the stars.
