If you’re looking for the perfect picturesque activity this fall, the City of London has you covered! Starting, Wednesday, September 18 until mid-October, City Hall will open the top floor observation deck to the public for Londoners to enjoy an aerial view of the foliage as it changes from green to autumn colours.
“Similar to Lighting of the Lights, City Hall’s observation deck will be open to the public to view the city’s fall colours,” says Mayor Josh Morgan. “This is a great, family-fun activity for Londoners to enjoy while taking in a bird's-eye view of our city.”
While viewing the stunning autumn cityscape from City Hall’s top floor, Londoners can also enjoy seasonal cookies, coffee and apple cider with a donation to this year’s United Way Elgin Middlesex campaign on behalf of the City of London. Entry to the observation deck is free.
The City Hall observation decks will be accessible to the public from September 18, 2024 to mid-October during the following times: Monday to Friday from 5 to 7:30 p.m. and Saturday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The observation deck will be closed on Monday, September 30, 2024.
Londoners interested in attending can RSVP at london.ca/FallatCityHall. Walk-ins are available as capacity permits.
