Downtown for Canada Day: Your guide to London’s 2025 Canada Day celebrations

Downtown London is the place to be this Canada Day! From music and markets to food trucks and fireworks – there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Kick off Canada Day early at Night Market London 

On Monday, June 30, start your celebration off early by heading to Dundas Place for Night Market London. Hosted by the London Heritage Council, this interactive, family-friendly street festival will light up the core. Don’t miss local artists and musicians, street performers, a variety of food and drink, artisans, and other small business vendors. 

Experience community and culture at Canada Day London

The celebration continues on Tuesday, July 1, with Canada Day London. Come back to Dundas Place starting at 12 p.m. and join London Heritage Council once again as they bring together the many cultures and diverse people who make up the Canada we know and love. You’ll experience live music, unique vendors, kids’ activities and more.

Enjoy Canada Day at Harris Park

On the evening of July 1, the City of London and Centro by Old Oak present live music, food trucks and fireworks in Harris Park.

It all kicks off in the park at 7 p.m. with the OLG Entertainment Zone featuring Paul Seed Fund supported artists Bella Rosa and Amanda Movio, followed by the headliner for the evening, London’s own King Cruff. 

Fireworks light up the night sky starting at 10 p.m. Be sure to find your spot early! 

Other ways to have fun on Canada Day

The City of London will be offering free recreational activities this Canada Day. You can find more information on the programs offered by visiting london.ca/CanadaDayRec.

There are also many Canada Day celebrations happening throughout London including South London Canada Day, East London Canada Day, and Summerside Canada Day 2025.

Reminder of fireworks by-law

Fireworks are only permitted to be discharged in backyards on Tuesday, July 1, between sundown and 11 p.m. 

Fireworks set off any other day or on City streets or in City parks without a display permit or permission from City Council are subject to enforcement and a possible fine. London Fire Department Inspectors and Municipal Compliance Officers will be active in our community enforcing the by-law. 

Those selling fireworks must obtain a business licence and are only permitted to sell fireworks on Canada Day and the five-day period before the holiday. Retailers with questions regarding licensing can email licensing@london.ca.
