In alignment with Ontario moving into Step 3 of the Roadmap to Reopen framework, the City of London is preparing to expand additional in-person services and programs. These changes are in addition to the many programs and services that resumed with Step 1 and 2 of the Provincial reopening framework.
All Middlesex-London Health Unit guidelines and Provincial regulations, including mask requirements, adhering to capacity limits and physical distancing, will apply at all times.
Recreation and Sport:
In addition to programs and services that were permitted during Step 1 and Step 2, the following are changes to recreation and sport amenities and programs:
As a reminder, outdoor pools, spray pads and wading pools continue to be open. For hours, locations and to register for programs, please visit london.ca/aquatics. Public washrooms and water fountains continue to be available for use throughout the city, location and hours of washroom facilities can be found on the City’s website.
Public Participation Meetings before Standing Committees:
In-person attendance at Public Participation Meetings will resume in the coming weeks. The schedule of upcoming Public Participation Meetings as well as updated meeting information will available on the City’s website. Due to capacity limitations, pre-registration for in-person attendance is strongly encouraged.
The option to provide input remotely for Public Participation Meetings will continue. Pre-registration is required for individuals wishing to participate remotely by calling 519-661-2489, extension 7100 or by emailing PPMClerks@london.ca.
