The 2024 London Remembrance Day Ceremony will be held at the London Cenotaph in Victoria Park on Monday, November 11 from 10:45 to 11:20 a.m. All are welcome to participate in the Ceremony, following the parade, as we gather to pay tribute to the courage and sacrifice of those who served and continue to serve our country during times of war, military conflict, and peace.

Schedule

Parade

  • 10:15 a.m. - Parade forms up in front of the Delta London Armories (325 Dundas Street)
  • 10:30 a.m. - Parade begins at the Delta London Armories, marching east on Dundas Street and turning north on Waterloo Street to Dufferin Avenue then west to London’s Cenotaph in Victoria Park

  • 10:45 a.m. - Salvation Army Jubilee Brass
  • 10:50 a.m. - Land Acknowledgement and Opening Remarks
  • 10:57 a.m. - National Anthem
  • 10:59 a.m. - Last Post
  • 11:00 a.m. - Two Minutes of Silence

Parade

  • 11:20 a.m. - Following the ceremony, the parade will march east on Dufferin Avenue, salute in front of City Hall and dismiss on Dufferin Avenue and Waterloo Street.

Londoners can also livestream the event on Rogers TV or CTV London’s website

Temporary road closure

The following streets will be closed on Monday, November 11, from 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for the Remembrance Day Ceremony: 

  • Dufferin Avenue from Clarence Street to Waterloo Street 
  • Wellington Street from Wolfe Street to Queens Avenue

How can I show my support if I cannot attend this event?

There are a few different ways you can show your support during this year's Remembrance Day:

  • Watch London’s Remembrance Day Ceremony on Rogers TV or stream it on CTV London’s website on Monday, November 11 starting at 10:45 a.m.
  • At 11 a.m. on November 11, stand outside your residence or business to publicly observe two minutes of silence.  
  • Consider sponsoring a future banner for the London Veteran Memorial Banners Program.
  • Wear a Poppy. Thank a Veteran.
