On Tuesday, July 1, the City of London and Centro by Old Oak present live music, food trucks and fireworks at Harris Park to celebrate Canada Day.
Join us at The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLD) Entertainment Zone for an evening full of live entertainment beginning at 7 p.m.
7 p.m. - Paul Seed Fund support artist: Bella Rosa
8 p.m. - Paul Seed Fund support artist: Amanda Movio
9 p.m. - Headliner: King Cruff
Food trucks will also be on site, including Ciao Modern Italian Cuisine, Donut Diva, New Leaf and Rosie's Streetery.
Fireworks light up the night sky starting at 10 p.m. Be sure to find your spot early!
Getting to and from Downtown for Canada Day:
Road closure information
A number of roads will be closed for celebrations happening in the downtown on Canada Day.
Get downtown early to avoid traffic disruptions, drive carefully, be mindful of others, and consider walking, riding your bike or taking a bus.
Monday, June 30 and Tuesday, July 1 (all day)
There will road closures to allow for Canada Day festivities happening on Dundas Place and Talbot Street, including:
- Dundas Street between Ridout Street and Richmond Street (closure will extend to Wellington Street on Tuesday only)
- Talbot Street between King Street and Carling Street
Tuesday, July 1 (8 to 11 p.m.)
Road closures will be in place to accommodate the fireworks display at Harris Park, including:
- Queens Avenue from Ridout Street North to Riverside Drive and Wharncliffe Road North
- Ridout Street North from Fullarton Street to King Street
- Thames Street from Dundas Street to Harris Park Gate
Queens Bridge and Kensington Bridge will be closed to vehicle traffic starting at 8 p.m. on July 1.

Walking, cycling and public transportation
Cyclists and pedestrians can use the Harris Park entrance at the corner of Dufferin Avenue and Ridout Street North, Dundas Place, Dundas-TVP and Dundas Street Bikeway to reach Harris Park.
Pedestrians will be permitted to walk through Queens Bridge until 9 p.m. The paths along the West London Dyke will also be closed near Labatt Park.
Ivey Park and the public walkway in front of the HMCS Prevost on Becher Street will be closed at 7 p.m. A reminder that Ivey Park spray pad is temporarily closed this year due to construction nearby.
As a reminder for those cycling, there are 3 bike locker locations downtown to help provide a secure space to park your bike.
Transit users are advised to visit the LTC website for service updates and detours.
Parking information
Those driving downtown for the fireworks can park at one of the City’s municipal parking lots nearby Harris Park, including Municipal Lots 12, 21, 6 and 20. Rates and locations can be found on the City of London website. On-street parking meters are free of charge on Tuesday, July 1.
Municipal Parking Lot 11 will be closed at 6 p.m. to accommodate for the display.
City of London Office Closures
All City administrative offices will be closed on Tuesday, July 1, including City Hall, Citi Plaza, all Ontario Works offices, and the Provincial Offences Administrative Office. Offices will reopen on Wednesday, July 2 at 8:30 a.m.
