Voting Day is Monday, October 26: What you need to know

London residents can vote in the 2026 Municipal Election on Monday, October 26, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

On Voting Day, eligible voters must attend their assigned voting location. Voters can find their location on the back of their Voter Notification Card (VNC) or by using the Am I on the List/Where to Vote? online tool at london.ca/elections.

Bring your voter notification card and identification

Voters are encouraged to bring their voter notification card if they have received one. You can still vote without a card.

Voters must bring acceptable identification showing their name and address. More than one piece of identification may be needed. A list of accepted documents is available at london.ca/elections.

Check your ward and voting location

New ward boundaries are being used for the 2026 Municipal Election, so your ward may have changed. Unlike advance voting, voters must attend their assigned voting location on Voting Day.

Check the voters’ list

The deadline to update voters’ list information online has passed. Eligible voters who are not on the voters’ list can still add their name in person when they go to vote on Monday, October 26.

Who can vote

To vote, you must be a Canadian citizen, be at least 18 years old on Voting Day, and live in London, own or rent property in London, or be the spouse of someone who owns or rents property in London. You must also not be prohibited from voting by law.

Eligible students living in London while attending school can vote here and in their home municipality if they consider their home to be the place they return to when not attending school.

Accessible voting and additional information

Voters who require accessible voting supports or have questions about voting can contact the Elections Office at 519-661-4535 or elections@london.ca.
