For more than 55 years, Delaware Speedway has been the home to some of the finest stock car racing in Canada. Its unique natural amphitheatre-like setting allows a family or group of friends to enjoy an exciting, comfortable and affordable evening or afternoon of entertainment at the Delaware Speedway. It is a half-mile paved oval stock-car track, located just west of London, Ontario, Canada. 

Choose from a selection of teams across Middlesex County if you are an amateur sport lover. The majority of amateur teams in Middlesex County are within the sport of hockey. At the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League level, there is the Strathroy Rockets as well as the Komoka Kings. A step below this, at the Provincial Junior Hockey League level are the Mount Brydges Bulldogs, North Middlesex Stars, Dorchester Dolphins and the Lucan Irish. 

Looking for a different type of movie night out, roll on up to the Mustang Drive-In to catch some flicks. If live country music is more of your jam, check out the Purple Hill Country Music Hall to see what artists and performances they have lined up.

Festivals and Events

There are many fairs, festivals and events that take place across Middlesex County, some celebrating historical and cultural events, and others as entertainment for the locals and a draw to visitors. Although it will not include every event, Middlesex County maintains a comprehensive calendar and regularly updates the list of upcoming and annual events.
