Outdoor Sporting Amenities Closures

Fanshawe Golf Course

The Fanshawe Golf Course will be closed for annual maintenance from September 15 - 18. 

Thames Valley Golf Course

The Thames Valley Golf Course will be closed for annual maintenance from September 22 - 25. 

Greenway Off Leash Park

The Greenway Off Leash Park will be closed for improvements from the morning of Monday September 14 to the evening of Friday September 18.

Facility closures

• The Thames Park Fieldhouse washrooms are closed for septic tank maintenance. 
• The washroom facility at Gibbons Park is temporarily closed due to required repairs.
• Please note the Ivey Park spray pad will remain closed for 2026.
• Due to construction on the Queens Bridge, the paddling access in Harris Park will be temporarily closed until May 2027.

South London Community Pool 

The following programs at the South London Community Pool will also be cancelled for staff training on Tuesday, September 15, 2026:

• 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. recreation swim
• 7 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. aquafit

Canada Games Aquatic Centre

The Canada Games Aquatic Centre will be shut down for annual maintenance August 24 to September 13, 2026.
