June is Recreation and Parks Month and there are countless ways to get involved in London!
From swimming lessons and day camps to art classes and seniors’ special events, the City of London offers thousands of recreation opportunities for everyone.
The City also has an extensive network of trails and pathways and wide variety of outdoor spaces, including skateboard parks, dog parks, sports fields, playgrounds, gardens, and natural areas. In 2025, city-operated trails and pathways saw more than 2 million users and recreation and sport facilities recorded over 3.3 million visits. In the same year, more than 1,950 hours of free opportunities were added through expanded programming and outreach.
Celebrate this Recreation and Parks Month by getting outside, getting active, and trying something new! In addition to the City’s regular recreation programs, the City is offering special FREE activities and programs for all ages throughout the month.
