Starting on Sunday, February 23, Richmond Street will be temporarily closed between Cheapside Street and Grosvenor Street to facilitate emergency sewer repairs until approximately the end of the day on Monday, February 24 (weather permitting).
During this time, a signed detour will be in place using Richmond Street, Oxford Street, Adelaide Street, Windermere Road and Western Road.
People driving are advised to expect delays and follow detour signs to reach their destination.
Transit riders are encouraged to visit the LTC website for the most up-to-date information.
Sidewalk access will be maintained while the road closure is in place. People walking are reminded to follow signs to navigate safely around the construction site.
Businesses will remain open and accessible during construction.
