On Tuesday, November 12 (tonight), a temporary road closure will be in place at the Central Avenue and Richmond Street intersection between Hyman Street and Albert Street to facilitate the activation of the temporary traffic signals as part of the Central Avenue Active Transportation Improvements project. The road is anticipated to be closed between 9 p.m. until approximately 1 a.m., Wednesday, November 13.
During this time, people travelling through this area will be temporarily detoured around the closure. A signed detour will be in place directing motorists from Dufferin Avenue to Pall Mall Street.
Access to businesses and properties in the area will be maintained during construction.
