Road closure: Regent Street from Maitland Street to William Street and William Street from Regent Street to Huron Street

Beginning Monday, April 4, Regent Street will be closed to non-local traffic from Maitland Street to William Street for water, sewer and road infrastructure work. William Street will also be closed between Regent Street and Huron Street. These closures are expected to be in place throughout the summer and into the fall.

Motorists will be detoured to Colborne Street and Cheapside Street while this closure is in place. Lane closure signs will be installed to alert road users of the restrictions.

Bus service on Huron Street will be impacted and detoured to Colborne Street and Cheapside Street. Transit users are encouraged to visit www.londontransit.ca/detours-stop-closures for service updates and detours.

Temporary sidewalk closures and restrictions will be in effect and cyclists and pedestrians are encouraged to use nearby streets to avoid this closure and reach destinations in the area.

Delays may be expected when travelling through the area, and all road users are encouraged to plan ahead by using the Waze app
