Pond Mills Road between Ailsa Place and Cleveland Avenue will be closed to all road users between Friday, April 23 and Friday, May 21.
This closure is to allow crews to complete water and sewer upgrades in the area.
During this time, a signed detour will be in effect for motorists. North and southbound vehicles travelling through the area will be redirected west to Commissioners Road East via Thompson Road and Adelaide Street South. Access will be maintained to local residences.
At this time, essential municipal infrastructure construction is permitted by the Province of Ontario. Health and safety are paramount when undertaking any construction project, and the City will continue to ensure staff and crews follow current COVID-19 protocols.
Motorists are advised to check if their commute is impacted, and to plan ahead by using the Waze app.
