The skating rink at Victoria Park and the skating trail at Storybook Gardens will soon be ready for skating this winter season.
City staff are working to open the Victoria Park skating rink and the Storybook Gardens skating trail on Friday, December 1, weather permitting.
Victoria Park free ice skating
Free outdoor ice skating at Victoria Park will be open daily from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m., weather permitting. The Kiwanis Memorial Bandshell concession will be open Monday to Friday from 5 to 10 p.m. and Saturday to Sunday from noon to 10 p.m., offering skate rentals and sharpening.

Storybook Gardens skating trail
Storybook Gardens’ 250-metre, 10,000 square foot outdoor skating trail winds through the beautiful park grounds, offering a unique skating experience in the city. The skating trail will be open every day of the week, weather permitting. You can visit Storybook Gardens’ website for hours of operation and information on private skating trail facility rentals.
Registration for the Storybook Gardens skating trail is available through Play Your Way online. Admission is $4.50 for adults and $3.50 for children (2 to 17 years old). Children under 24-months-old receive free entry. Skate rentals are available at $6.50 per person. A 10-visit pass can be purchased for $39.00.
Rotary Rink at Covent Garden Market
With the Holly Jolly Market taking place outside of the Covent Garden Market throughout December, the Rotary Rink at Covent Garden Market will open in early January. More details around the reopening of the Rotary Rink will be shared in early January.
