Lane restrictions starting at Wonderland Road South and Springbank Drive

Starting Monday, March 9 (weather permitting), crews will begin work to rebuild the traffic signals at the intersection of Wonderland Road South and Springbank Drive. This work will replace aging signal infrastructure and improve reliability at the intersection.

Construction is expected to continue until early July 2026.

During this time, Wonderland Road South will remain open, but lane restrictions will be in place. Sidewalk restrictions and temporary closures may also occur in the area.

During construction, people driving should anticipate delays when traveling through the intersection and are encouraged to follow posted signage to help reach their destinations safely.

Temporary sidewalk closures and restrictions will be necessary at times. People walking are reminded to watch for uneven surfaces and follow signs to navigate around the construction zone safely.

People biking are encouraged to use nearby streets to reach their destinations in the area and follow signs to navigate safely around the construction site.

Some London Transit (LTC) bus routes and stops may be temporarily affected. Riders should check the LTC website (londontransit.ca) for the latest updates.
