Lane Restrictions: Dundas Street at Eleanor Street and Florence Street at Eleanor Street

Starting Tuesday, October 11, Dundas Street at the intersection of Eleanor Street will experience lane restrictions until approximately the end of November as crews complete sewer lining work to strengthen and preserve the existing sewer infrastructure underground.

This sewer lining project will also require temporary lane restrictions on Florence Street at the intersection of Eleanor Street between Tuesday, October 11 until Friday, October 14. Lane closure signs will be installed near both intersections to alert road users of the restrictions.

Nearby, Eleanor Street between King Street and Dundas Street remains closed until the end of November as part of the sewer lining work.

Sidewalk access will be maintained on at least one side of the road at all times and pedestrians are encouraged to use nearby streets where possible to reach businesses and residences in the area.

Businesses in the area remain open and accessible.

Transit riders are advised to visit the LTC website for service updates and learn about impacted stops.

Drivers can expect delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes where possible, and to plan ahead by using navigation tools such as Waze or Google Maps.
