Notice of Collection of Personal Information – personal information is collected under the authority of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, and the Planning Act, 1990 R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13and will be used by Members of Council and City of London staff in consideration of these matters.

Written submissions, including names and contact information and the associated reports arising from the public participation process, will be made available to the public, including publishing on the City's website. Video recordings of the Public Participation Meeting may also be posted to the City of London's website. Questions about this collection should be referred to Manager, Records and Information Services, 519-661-CITY (2489) ext. 5590.


The City of London posts all public notices online at london.ca/public-notices. Please note that starting January 1, 2026, the City of London will no longer publish planning application notices in The Londoner. Instead, Londoners can view planning applications online and will still be notified through mailed notices when required by The London Plan and the Planning Act. 

 

COMMUNITY INFORMATION MEETINGS – NON-STATUTORY

This meeting is a non-statutory community information meeting which the City’s Planning and Development Department at times convenes when, in the opinion of the Managing Director, Planning and Economic Development and City Planner, that the community should have a further opportunity to obtain information regarding a planning application. There will be a future statutory public participation meeting required under the Planning Act, held at the Planning and Environment Committee, which will provide the public with another opportunity to comment on the planning application. Notification of this Public Meeting will be published in the Londoner at a future date.

 

MINOR VARIANCES

A meeting of the Committee of Adjustment for the City of London will be held Thursday, May 28, 2026, commencing at 1:30 p.m. for the purpose of hearing the following applications for Minor Variance:

A-26037 – 10 Marianna Drive, to permit a one-storey cluster townhouse development. To permit Rear Yard Depth of 5.1m, whereas 6.0m is the minimum required. To permit Interior Side Yard Depth (north) of 1.5m, whereas 3.0m is the minimum required. To permit Interior Side Yard Depth (south) of 1.9m, whereas 4.5m is the minimum required. Planner: C. Notice of decision

If you wish to be notified of a decision of the Committee of Adjustment, you must appear in person, or by counsel, at the hearing (including virtually) and file a written request to be notified with the Secretary-Treasurer, Committee of Adjustment.  

Appeals

The applicant, the Minister, or a specified person or public body that has an interest in the matter may, within 20 days of the decision of the committee, appeal to the Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) against the decision by filing with the secretary-treasurer a notice of appeal setting out the objection to the decision and the reasons for the objection, accompanied by payment to the secretary-treasurer of the fee charged by the OLT.

NOTICE OF STUDY COMPLETION – Pollution Prevention Control Plan (PPCP) Municipal Class Environmental Assessment - The City of London has completed a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (EA) Study to update the original PPCP completed in 2018. The primary objective of the PPCP is to develop and implement a plan to achieve a long-term solution which will limit the volume and frequency of occurrence of untreated wastewater discharges to the Thames River and receiving streams.

From May 14, 2026, to June 12, 2026, the Pollution Prevention Control Plan Update Study Project File Report (PFR) is available for review online; at London City Hall 300 Dufferin Avenue, City Clerk’s Office, 3rd Floor during regular hours of operation Monday to Friday; and at the London Public Library – Central Branch, 251 Dundas St, London, ON N6A 6H9, during regular hours of operation.

Tenders must be submitted in the prescribed form and must be accompanied by a deposit in the form of a money order or of a bank draft or cheque certified by a bank or trust corporation payable to the municipality and representing at least 20 per cent of the tender amount.

 The municipality makes no representation regarding the title or any other matters relating to the land to be sold, including but not limited to the potential existence of environmental contamination, estates and interests of the federal or provincial governments or their agencies, easements and restrictive covenants, and interests acquired by adverse possession. 

Responsibility for ascertaining these matters rests with the potential purchasers.

This sale is governed by the Municipal Act, 2001 and the Municipal Tax Sales Rules made under that Act. The successful purchaser will be required to pay the amount tendered plus accumulated taxes, penalties and interest, GST/HST if applicable, and the relevant land transfer tax.

The municipality has no obligation to provide vacant possession to the successful purchaser.
