The Planning and Environment Committee will consider the following matters at a Public Participation Meeting to be held Tuesday, January 7, 2024. Standing Committee and Council Meetings are held at City Hall in Council Chambers. Participation of some Council Members and staff may be virtual. 4023-4096 Meadowbrook Drive, 4474-4500 Blakie Road and 169-207 Exeter Road – The purpose and effect of this zoning change is to permit a broader range of light industrial uses to the entirety of the subject lands. Possible change to the Zoning By-law Z.-1 FROM a Light Industrial Special Provision (LI1/LI4(10)/LI7) Zone and a Light Industrial Special Provision (LI1/LI2/LI3/LI4(10)/LI7) Zone TO a Light Industrial Special Provision (LI1/LI2/LI3/LI4(10)/LI7) Zone. The existing special provision and range of permitted uses would continue to apply to the site. 1484 Gore Road – The purpose and effect of this policy and zoning change is to permit the development of eight (8) townhouse units, and a 3.5-storey stacked townhouse complex comprising sixteen (16) residential units, for a total of twenty-four (24) residential units and twenty (20) off-street parking spaces. Possible change to Zoning By-law Z.-1 FROM a Residential R1 (R1-6) Zone TO a Residential R5 Special Provision (R5-6( ) Zone with special provisions to implement the proposed use. If a person or public body would otherwise have an ability to appeal the decision of the Corporation of the City of London or of the Approval Authority to the Ontario Land Tribunal but the person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the City of London before the application is adopted or approved, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision.
If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the City of London before the proposed amendment is adopted or approved, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Land Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to add the person or public body as a party.

Notice of the Passing of By-law E.-193-30 being a by-law to redivide the wards in the City of London –TAKE NOTICE that the Council of The Corporation of the City of London passed By-law No. E.-193-30 being “A by-law to redivide the wards in the City of London and to repeal By-law E.-184-180 being “A by-law to redivide the wards in the City of London” on the 17th day of December 2024, pursuant to Section 222 of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended.
AND TAKE NOTICE that the Minister or any other person or agency may appeal to the Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) by filing a notice of appeal with the City Clerk of The Corporation of the City of London NO LATER THAN 4:30 PM on Friday, January 31, 2025. The notice of appeal must set out the objections to the By-law and the reasons in support of the objections and must be accompanied by the $1,100.00 fee prescribed under the Ontario Land Tribunal Act, 2021, in the form of a certified cheque or money order payable to the Minister of Finance. If you wish to appeal to the OLT, a copy of an appeal form can be found at the following website www.olt.gov.on.ca.
