Eastbound lane closure: Oxford Street East between Strand Street and Fleet Street

Oxford Street East between Strand Street and Fleet Street will be closed to eastbound traffic starting Tuesday, October 18 until the end of the day on Thursday, October 20.

This closure is to allow crews to replace a sewer maintenance hole in the area.

Westbound traffic on Oxford Street East will also experience temporary lane restrictions during this work. 

A signed detour will help eastbound drivers navigate around the closure using Quebec Street, Dundas Street, and Highbury Avenue North.

Sidewalk access will be maintained for pedestrians.

Transit riders are advised to visit the LTC website for service updates and to learn about impacted stops.  

Drivers can expect delays, and are encouraged to plan ahead by using navigation tools such as Waze or Google Maps.
