This $2,000 scholarship, awarded annually, recognizes two high school students with the highest scholastic achievement based on the average of the student’s best six subjects in their graduating year.

“Congratulations to these two exceptional students for the hard work and dedication they demonstrated through their academic achievements,” said Mayor Josh Morgan. “We wish you continued success in your post-secondary education this fall.”

Graduating with an average of 99.33% from London Central Secondary School, Angelina Lam will pursue her post-secondary education at Western University in the Medical Science program with the goal of becoming a dentist. Her favourite high school subjects were biology and Writer’s Craft. She loves cooking and creative baking, and is an accomplished student of the piano.  Angelina is also a recipient of the Ontario Scholar Award and The Governor General’s Academic Medal.
