Overnight rolling closures begin for surface paving at Fanshawe Park Road and Richmond Street

Starting on Sunday, October 6, overnight rolling closures will begin at Fanshawe Park Road between Louise Boulevard and the east end of North Centre Road, as well as on Richmond Street from Jacksway Crescent to North Centre Road to facilitate surface paving as part of the Fanshawe Park Road and Richmond Street Intersection Improvements project, until approximately Friday, October 11.

The overnight rolling closures are anticipated to begin each night at 7:00 p.m. until approximately 7:00 a.m. the following morning, with reduced lanes in effect during the day.

People driving through the area should expect delays and may be temporarily detoured around the closures to complete surface paving safely and efficiently.

Transit users are advised to visit the LTC website for service updates and detours.

Pedestrian and bike access will be maintained throughout this work, with temporary sidewalk and bike lane restrictions and closures in place.

Access to businesses and properties in the area will be maintained during construction.
