On Wednesday, September 4, 2024, both Wellington Road from Montgomery Gate to just south of Bradley Avenue, as well as Bradley Avenue between Montgomery Road and just east of the Wellington Road intersection will be closed overnight, starting at 11:00 p.m. Wednesday until approximately 6:00 a.m. Thursday morning.
Then on Thursday, September 5, Wellington Road will be closed overnight between White Oaks Mall and the entrance to Wellington Commons, from 11:00 p.m. Thursday until approximately 6:00 a.m. Friday, September 6.
The overnight closures are to allow crews to safely activate temporary traffic signals at these intersections as part of the Wellington Gateway Phase 4 construction project.
During this time, a signed detour will be in place using Exeter Road, White Oak Road and Southdale Road. People travelling overnight on Wellington Road are encouraged to use navigation apps such as Waze and Google Maps to find alternative routes.
Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout this work.
