On Monday, August 28, Queens Avenue will be fully closed overnight between Wellington Street and Talbot Street for surface paving operations as part of the Downtown Loop Phase 2 project. The road is anticipated to be closed from 5:00 p.m. until approximately 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 29, weather permitting.
Signs have been installed to alert drivers of the restrictions and help guide traffic through the area.
People driving are advised to plan ahead by using navigation apps such as Waze or Google Maps and use alternative routes when possible to reach their destination.
Transit riders are advised to visit the LTC website for service updates and the most up-to-date information.
Businesses remain open and accessible during this work.
