Temporary westbound lanes closure: Dundas Street between Oakland Avenue and Highbury Avenue

Starting Monday, July 15, the westbound lanes on Dundas Street will be closed between Oakland Avenue and Highbury Avenue for necessary watermain work as part of Phase 3C of the East London Link and Municipal Infrastructure Improvements project, until approximately Monday, July 29.

During this time, a signed detour will be in place for people travelling westbound on Dundas Street, while the eastbound lanes remain open through this area.

People driving are advised to expect delays and are encouraged to use navigation apps such as Waze and Google Maps to find alternative routes when possible.

Some LTC routes and stops along this section of Dundas Street may be impacted during construction. Transit riders are encouraged to visit the LTC website for the most up-to-date information.

Sidewalk access will be maintained on at least one side of the road during construction. People walking are advised to follow signs to reach their destination.

Businesses will remain open and accessible during construction.
