The New Year’s Eve in the Park committee is excited to announce the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) as Title Sponsor of this year’s New Year’s Eve in the Park, London’s biggest New Year’s Eve celebration.
“When we saw the call go out for a title sponsor for New Year’s Eve in the Park we knew this was the right thing to do,” said Jeff Lang, President and CEO of the WSIB. “It’s so important for people to have safe, free events like this where they can celebrate and have fun. I can’t think of a better way to contribute to our community than helping to ensure this event continues.”
New Year’s Eve in the Park presented by the WSIB will take place on Sunday, December 31 in Victoria Park. This free, family-friendly event brings thousands of Londoners together to enjoy a magical night filled with entertainment and fun for all ages. Planning is still underway, but visitors can expect fireworks, outdoor skating, live music and five hours of entertainment while counting down to the new year.
“New Year’s Eve is a celebration of local musical talent, bringing London’s best to the stage with music we all know and love,” said Mario Circelli, Producer of New Years Eve in the Park. “Attendees can look forward to the London Music Awards All Stars anchor and
an incredibly talented line up.”
“We are enormously grateful to our new Title Sponsor, the WSIB, and of course we’re thankful for our returning sponsors,” said Marcus Plowright, Chair of the planning committee for New Year’s Eve in the Park. “Special thank you to the team at The City of London, Mayor Morgan and City Council. The City has partnered with the community for decades to ensure Londoners can continue the New Year’s Eve celebrations that have become a London tradition. Stay tuned at the end of the November for more exciting programming details to be released.”
