Starting Monday, April 11, 2022 the City of London will continue with necessary advance work in preparation for the Wharncliffe Road South Improvements project. This advance work will require periodic lane restrictions on Stanley / York Street between Wharncliffe Road South and Thames Street, which will be in effect until approximately April 19, 2022.

During this time, lane closure signs will be installed to alert road users of the restrictions. Motorists can expect delays when travelling through the area and are encouraged to plan ahead by using the Waze app.

Temporary sidewalk restrictions and closures will also be in effect in the area and pedestrians are encouraged to use nearby streets to avoid these closures. Cyclists are encouraged to use alternate routes to reach their destinations.
