Lane Restrictions: Adelaide Street between King Street and Queens Avenue

Adelaide Street between King Street and Queens Avenue will experience temporary lane restrictions from March 22 at 12noon to approximately March 24. These lane restrictions are to allow crews to complete temporary underground work as part of the Dundas Street Infrastructure Renewal project.

During this work, northbound vehicle traffic will be reduced to one lane. Sidewalk access will be maintained, and businesses remain open and accessible. Cyclists are asked to dismount and use the sidewalk when traveling through the construction area. Signage will be posted around the area.

Later this spring, crews will permanently connect the new sewer at the intersection of Adelaide Street and Dundas Street. Additional lane restrictions or detours to northbound vehicle traffic are anticipated in the future and will be communicated when they are confirmed.

Residents can learn more about the project by visiting london.ca/oev or the City’s Renew London website.

Transit riders are advised to review the LTC detour if their stop is impacted.

Motorists should give themselves a little extra time if traveling through the area and can plan ahead by using the Waze app.
