Hyde Park Road and Sunningdale Road West roundabout intersection reopens to traffic this evening

The intersection of Hyde Park Road and Sunningdale Road West, which has been rebuilt as a roundabout, reopens to motor vehicle traffic this evening, six weeks ahead of schedule.

Over the next few weeks crews will be on-site to complete the roundabout’s in-boulevard bike path and sidewalk, as well as other minor restoration and utility work. Periodic lane restrictions will be required for some of this work.

The Hyde Park and Sunningdale Intersection Improvements project is one of London’s Top 10 construction projects undertaken this year. The project aims to improve safety and comfort for all road users >while helping to accommodate existing and future travel demand.
