119 Centre Street – Application for Site Plan Approval by 1000068472 Ontario Inc. for a site at 119 Centre Street. Consideration of a site plan to permit a 3-storey cluster townhouse development with 9 residential units. 300-320 King Street – The purpose and effect of this zoning change is to permit a 35-storey, 435 unit mixed-use building with a central residential tower, and a 4 and 5-storey podium across the entire site consisting of commercial, a parking structure, bicycle storage and residential units.  Possible change to Zoning By-law Z.-1 FROM a holding Downtown Area (h-3*DA2*D350) Zone TO a Downtown Area Special Provision (DA2(  )) Zone.  Special provisions would permit no landscaped open space requirement, a maximum building height of 111m, a maximum lot coverage of 97%, and a maximum density of 940 units per hectare. 755-815 Wonderland Road South – The purpose and effect of this Official Plan and zoning change is to permit a mixed-use redevelopment of an existing shopping centre.   Possible amendment to the Official Plan to permit greater heights for apartment buildings of 16 storeys (65m), and a total of 40,000 square metres of office gross floor area. If a person or public body would otherwise have an ability to appeal the decision of the Corporation of the City of London or of the Approval Authority to the Ontario Land Tribunal but the person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the City of London before the application is adopted or approved, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision.
If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the City of London before the proposed amendment is adopted or approved, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Land Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to add the person or public body as a party.

CONSENTS

The London Consent Authority will be considering the following application for consent. Comments are due December 22, 2022, to the London Consent Authority.

B.038/22 – 360 Exeter Road & 3600 White Oak Road. Requesting permission to sever two lots; Lot 1 with an area of 1900m² and a lot frontage of 90.4m and Lot 2 area of 24000m² and a frontage of 94.4m and retain Lot 3 with an area of 1600m² with a lot frontage of 78.8m. The applicant is also requesting three easements, one in favour of Lot 3, one for a servicing and access easement in favour of Lot 2, and a third easement for servicing and access in favour of Lot 2. NOTICES

Notice of Public Information Centre - Meadowlily Road Area - Municipal Class Environmental Assessment - To support development in the Meadowlily Area, this study will identify a sanitary servicing and pathway linkage solution. The City of London has requested MTE Consultants to initiate a study to identify and evaluate alternative solutions, and to select the preferred solution.

This study will complete a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (EA) for the construction of a sanitary pump station and prepare the preliminary design. The Municipal Class EA Study will also assess the most appropriate means of establishing primary recreational pathway linkages between Meadowlily Bridge and the Citywide Sports Park within the Meadowlily Road South and Commissioners Road East, Right of Ways (ROWs).

This project is being carried out in accordance with the requirements of the Environmental Assessment Act by following the Municipal Class EA document (as amended in 2007, 2011 and 2015) and it is being planned under Schedule ‘B’ of the Municipal Class EA.

At this stage of the project, and in accordance with the requirements of the Environmental Assessment Act, archaeological and heritage, environmental, and technical investigations have been conducted. MTE has identified alternative sanitary servicing and pathway linkages solutions.

Presentation, discussion, and input on the identified alternatives will be conducted at the Public Information Centre (PIC). MTE Consultants and the City of London invite all interested parties to attend a PIC meeting on:

Notice of Study Commencement – Oxford Street West Improvements Municipal Class Environmental Assessment Study - The City of London has initiated a Municipal Class EA (Class EA) for improvements to the Oxford Street West, Westdel Bourne to Sanatorium Road. The purpose of this study is to develop and review options to widen Oxford Street West from two to four lanes, improve intersection operations including consideration of roundabouts, and improve pedestrian and cycling facilities through the corridor. The potential need to widen the Thames River Bridge will also be reviewed.  In identifying improvements, the study will consider socio-economic, cultural heritage and natural environment factors as well as technical requirements and aesthetics.

This study will be carried out in accordance with ‘Schedule C’ requirements of the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (MCEA), (as amended 2015), which is an approved process under the Ontario Environmental Assessment Act.  The study will also include a scoped Environmental Impact Study (EIS) in accordance with The London Plan Environmental Policies and the City of London Environmental Management Guidelines (2021).

Formal opportunities for input will be provided around three Public Information Centres (PICs), to be held as the study progresses. Details of each PIC will be available under separate notices. CITY SERVICES DURING THE 2022 HOLIDAY CLOSURE

A number of our offices, programs and services are closed from noon on December 23, 2022, and will reopen at 8:30 a.m. on January 3, 2023. Below is a list of services that are open or available during this time:


Recreation and Sport

Life Stabilization - Ontario Works and Discretionary benefits
