Victoria Day Fireworks

Londoners wishing to discharge consumer fireworks (backyard displays) this holiday weekend are reminded to keep safety top of mind and follow the Fireworks By-law . Fireworks are permitted only on Monday, May 20, from sundown until 11 p.m. in celebration of Victoria Day.

Weather conditions should always be taken into consideration and a water hose or pail of water should be kept close by. Fireworks are never permitted to be discharged in City parks or on streets.

London Fire Department Inspectors and Municipal Compliance Officers will be active in our community enforcing the by-law. To report a noise concern relating to fireworks after hours or on days when not permitted, please call 519-661-5670 and provide the exact address, if possible, from where the fireworks are occurring.
