Temporary road closure: Queens Avenue between Waterloo Street and Wellington Street

Starting Tuesday, June 11, Queens Avenue will be temporarily closed between Waterloo Street and Wellington Street as part of the ongoing work for the Downtown Loop Phase 3 project, until approximately Friday, June 14.

During this time, a signed detour will be in place using Waterloo Street, Dundas Street and Wellington Street. People driving are advised to follow detoured signs and use alternative routes, when possible, to reach their destination.

Access to businesses and properties along this section of Queens Avenue will be maintained while the road closure is in place.

People travelling in the area should expect delays and consider using navigation tools such as Waze or Google Maps.

Transit users are advised to visit the LTC website for service updates and detours.

People walking are encouraged to use nearby streets to avoid sidewalk restrictions on Queens Avenue.
